    Super Rugby Pacific (2024)

I was at the Chiefs/Reds game last year at New Plymouth, watching this was very similar. As at last years game, the young fellas in Reds seemed to grow belief as game went on and weren't going to let is slip! Was a very good performance from them again!

    Super Rugby Pacific (2022)

Agree about exploring options and should do, (as NZ did with Aritipu report) and I no noone who says NZR do no evil, my argument is the RA can do no evil and NZR is always the culprit argument. I have never seen anyone or heard anyone say RA has to bend over backwards for NZR, but opposite...

    If Cullen...

I would add Bruce, I think the biggest thing that has opened up NH rugby, is drainage, artificial turf allowing players to play a freer style of rugby. etc on

    If Cullen...

Yep mate, but I think the offside is enforced more than a lot of spectators think, I have been at multiple games. where crowd is baying for offside, but not a; in line to see offside line and b; don't know when a player is offfside like not knowing when rucks etc are formed.

    Super Rugby Pacific (2022)

:p:p That's not bad Derps, Tell us about this sold out 90,000 test in Perth that was abandoned. Which Perth stadium was it being played at that held 90,000? Surely it wasn't the one that was actually played at Optus Stadium in Perth , a stadium that holds 60,000 and was still sold out when...

    New Zealand Player Drain

In answer to question, yes the player drain to europe is having an impact and has for a few years. There is now something like 660 professional rugby players from NZ playing the game outside of NZ, while many are in lower grades etc, there are enugh to impact the depth here.

    Super Rugby Pacific (2022)

Who told you that Kiwi? The original supersport deal was split evenly, and then SA felt because more money was coming from them, all would then do own deals and keep money they got from that deal. It hasn't been an even split since those days. To say NZR get 91 mill fron super rugby and RA get...

Super Rugby - Trans Tasman (Round 1)

Yep Hinemo is going straight to England when he finished with Highlanders, Brownie reckons he was better playing than spending time in quarantine.

    2021 Super Rugby Aotearoa - Round 1

Naa Barrett's kick went over the upright, has to go between them. I can't see how anyone watching on tv can think they can see better than AR under the post.

    North Island vs South island

Smith is not starting because TJ has had longer break, with missing final game of super because of birth of child!

3rd Bledisloe Cup Match 27/10/2018 Yokohama

You know a lot of self defence people will tell you hitting with the palm of your hand can do as much damage as with a fist, in fact how many do it to break bits of wood etc.

    Wayne Barnes Retiring

Turned into a bloody great ref I believe, we need more of his ilk!

Greatest All Blacks XV of All Time

Yep they all just our opinions I know, and a lot depends on our age and who we saw play. I agree that Robertson has to be 13, in fact when I first saw Conrad I thought he reminded me a bit of Robertson, but Robertson was bloody quick. Also any backline would probably need some mention of Chris...

[2018 Rugby Championship] Round 3: Australia v South Africa (08/09/2018)

Geez I was disappointed with The Boks, did they really beat England in a series? Skill level was shocking! Not the Boks I expected, I wonder what the problem is.

[2018 Rugby Championship] Round 2: New Zealand v Australia (25/08/2018)

Yep Alpha , but if you go back to mine you will see where I mentioned Italy etc packing out grounds to watch ABs play, same as Scotland etc. I agree it hurting Aus because ABs play them so bloody much, it's what they seem to keep seeing is the ABs winning again.

[2018 Rugby Championship] Round 2: New Zealand v Australia (25/08/2018)

You reckon Derpus? Why do people watch Winx run in the Gee gees, she beats everything, but more people go to races when she is running. Take a little peek when ABs play Italy , stands are absolutely packed as people tend to want to watch the best. I understand it not doing Aus rugby any good as...

[2018 Super Rugby] Round 5: Stormers vs. Blues (17/03/2018)

Blues looked like they were just waiting for something to happen in first half, not trying to go and make it happen. Then it was a mile to late! Pretty ordinary, but also at same time give Stormers credit, they tore into the game and fully deserved win.

[2018 Super Rugby] Round 5: Highlanders vs. Crusaders (17/03/2018)

Crusaders may struggle with their injuries this week, mind you H'landers are a pretty smart team, and liking the look of their new midfield. Don't know how many games A Smith can put in like last week, because he will probably need to.
