Thanks for the update. Had the Sunwolves not pulled off that incredible victory over the Blues in the final game, would their place in Super Rugby have been in jeopardy?

Cheetahs and Kings to join "Pro 14"

Thanks for clearing that up. I'm really looking forward to seeing both the Cheetahs and Kings play here in the UK. Do you think that many supporters of either team will travel over?

Do the Kings also have a team in the Currie Cup? How can they and the Cheetahs play in both?

I've only really started following the Sunwolves this season, so who are some of these players they've been trying to sign for a while? Has the schedule and travelling been the reason behind not being able to sign them until now?

    Japanese Rugby

I think that the Sunwolves reaching the play-offs next season is a little optimistic given that they've never beaten Australian opposition or won a game outside of Japan. Simply doubling this season's tally of victories (two) would be an achievement in itself.

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 18: Sunwolves vs. Blues (15/07/2017)

I think that it would be of great benefit to the Sunwolves if all of their 'home' games could be played in Tokyo. Aside from the conditions, they have very passionate support at the stadium there.

Cheetahs and Kings to join "Pro 14"

Surely the Sunwolves were created with the 2019 World Cup in mind, to raise the profile of the game in the country and the standard of opposition their players face on a regular basis. It can't all be about TV, timezones etc, can it?!

Cheetahs and Kings to join "Pro 14"

Would the Sunwolves be a better alternative in the Pro 12? Given that Japan will play Scotland, Ireland and at least one other Northern Hemisphere team in the next World Cup, you'd have thought that their rugby authorities would be keen to give their players more experience against this...

SANZAAR to cut 3 teams in 2018

The team that would surely benefit most from a move out of Super Rugby to the Pro 12 must be the Sunwolves, given that Japan will be playing at least three Northern Hemisphere countries in their 2019 World Cup group.
