    Argentinian Rugby

Not so simple. After the World Rugby intervention and some negotiation from the UAR, we were able to get almost all our international for the Rugby Championship. But in exchange, we didn't call them for the June International Window.

    Argentinian Rugby

In the same line that FNS, as shocking that these names could be, I don't think that most of them are the bigger problem the UAR have for the Pumas future. Marcelo Bosch, Urdapilleta and some of the second rows could be a short term help. Juan Pablo Socino and Juan Figallo, may be important in...

To be fair, I don't buy Fernández argument of the UAR not contacting him at the proper time. I'm pretty sure that if he was looking forward to came back from Europe, the timming wasn't going to be an issue. On the other hand, I actually think that the UAR didn't do their homework as well.

Hindu won the "Nacional de Clubes" ***le: http://www.americasrugbynews.com/2017/07/29/hindu-win-argentine-national-club-treble/ Bytheway, who was the genius that decided this new championship finals schedule? It doesn't make any sense.

June International Tests: Canada vs. USA (24/06/2017)

And the US Eagles finally beat Canada when it matters (during the RWCQ). It seem that that yellow card proven to be really costly. Although I actually don't think that there were to much hopes for Canada before it. Congrats Eagles!!

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 11: Jaguares vs. Sunwolves (06/05/2017)

The attendances look better now that one year ago, because Jaguares actually still has some mathematical chances. But after these 4 matches the attendances will go down fast. However, I don't expect that non reaching the play offs will dramatically afect next year expectation. The losses...

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 11: Jaguares vs. Sunwolves (06/05/2017)

This was horrible. The worst Jaguares performance (until now) in my opinion. It was reaaly hard to keep watching it up to the end.

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 10: Jaguares vs. Sharks (29/04/2017)

That was a really bad/disapointing game. And although we still have some mathematical chances to get more point that the Sharks, I think that this defeat (and the one against the bulls) settle a bad (underperforming) seasson for the Jaguares. Congrats Sharks!! You're almost on the QFs.

    Argentinian Rugby

SANZAAR to cut 3 teams in 2018

Come on guys. We all know that a 2 tiers systems won't work due to the financials problems to keep the second tier going. Actually the financial problems to keep the best players in the only one current tier is what triggered all this expansion. Also, I "proper" conference systems (as...

SANZAAR to cut 3 teams in 2018

But in 2010 the travel factor actually was a big claim from the players, and now 2 new countries have been included in the equation. - - - Updated - - - Sure, but I prefer the conference concept than the Cup concept. Because you need guarantee a minimum amount of matches for all the teams...

SANZAAR to cut 3 teams in 2018

I know that this format change have several problems to look at. But now I'm thinking about an issue that it seems to not been mentioned yet. All know that the SANZAAR is still thinking about future expansion. And while almost all the planned expansion can be delayed and wait some more years...

[2017 Super Rugby] Round 8: Bulls vs. Jaguares (15/04/2017)

This is a must win game for Jaguares play-off aspirations. Also, I think we have good chances to get it. But we have a big problem with our replacements. We need to win the game in the first 60 minutes, if it is decided in the last 20 we will lose it.

SANZAAR to cut 3 teams in 2018

Ok. Now is oficial! Should be a lot of people happy out there. Although some other must be still complaining due to the conferences system still being in place. I still don't know if I'm actually happy about this. I think that the 3 teams that will be kicked off are evident. Bye Bye Kings...

Who should host The 2031 Rugby World Cup

Ok... It seems that someone wants to see France selected. Going for some more logical options, it will depends on who get the earliers editions. If we get: South Africa (2023) -> Ireland/France (2027), I go for Argentina (2031) If we get: Ireland/France (2023) -> Argentina (2027), I go for...
