    [Natwest 6 Nations] Round 3 : Scotland Vs England 24/02/2018 16:45

Pretty much this. First 40 we (England) were just off the pace and Scotland took advantage with some great stuff. Second half I think the shifts in momentum from the Launchbury penalty (weird), the Farrel try (clearly a knock-on) as well as Owens not giving us the rub of the green, and us...

Test Match 2: All Blacks v British & Irish Lions (Wellington)

I actually thought the red card put the Lions off their stride as much as the All Blacks. It was like they panicked and tried a bit too hard from that point on. Also, I'm quite a big Mako fan but 2 of his 4(?) penalties were poor. Having said that, I thought the one at the scrum where he...

[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 5: Ireland vs England (18/03/2017)

Well done Ireland. Better tactics on the day, especially considering weather conditions. England seemed unwilling to compete at the breakdown and it cost us. Also a disrupted set piece, especially lineout, cost us. Deserved winners and a tenacious performance.

    Italy undermining the 6 Nations

The problem I have is that I never really look forward to watching the Italy games because they're so rarely any sort of spectacle. I certainly can't be the only one, and that in itself is a problem for the Six Nations.

Just joining in a discussion which has clearly sparked some interest.

[2017 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: England vs Scotland (12/03/2017)

I disagree. It was slightly late yes, but there was certainly some effort to wrap his arm. A clothesline is a straight elbow. What he did wasn't a clothesline. It was a poorly timed (although I've seen far worse), chest high attempted tackle which, had it not been slightly late, would not have...

Paul O'Connell - best pundit in the game?

I have really liked O'Connell's input this tournament, but I still rate Michael Lynagh as hands down the best pundit in the sport. The man can remain balanced despite a loss like few others. Also, I keep thinking Wilkinson should be a good pundit but he just waffles a bit too much. He needs to...

Why dont people like Eddie Butler commentating?

He is very anti-English which can be irritating. He has a sort of epic voice, but it can grate a bit.

Maro Itoje - the greatest rugby player of all time, is he there already?

A year on from this thread being made he's not looking like a bad player.

[2016 RBS Six Nations] Round 4: England vs. Wales (12/03/2016)

I find it strange that Wales weren't reduced to 14 for what looked like a gouge, not that you should have to rely on the opposition's foul play to see you to victory. But it's still strange that, having seen it on the big screen, Joubert chose to give a penalty (thus acknowledging the foul...

Mike Brown vs Alex Goode plus why does Twelvetrees not start

I don't rate Goode. He seems to lack dynamism and certainly doesn't give me a great feeling of confidence when I see him in the 15 jersey. Twelvetrees has good patches and bad patches. However, if you're going to get in a side based upon your all round abilities (as opposed to one particularly...

[2015 Six Nations] England vs France (Round 5)

Dude, you quite literally put together sentences which lack any semblance with the English language. #lrn2englishyo

[2015 Six Nations] England vs France (Round 5)

England keep missing out on points difference. Shout out for Scotland, and in particular Hog for dropping the ball over the line. Not.

    Incompetent international refereeing

NZ, kings of obstruction, crossing and forward passes. Best in the world though.

    anthems used in six nations

I wouldn't change it. And definitely not to Jerusalem.

[2015 Six Nations] Wales vs England (Round 1)

Excellent second half performance, particularly in defence.
