    Next All Black coach?

But new ideas don’t necessarily come from ‘outsiders’. For every Kodak, there’s another company innovating and doing great things without relying on outsiders for innovation. There genuinely isn’t any proof. We have been subject to a number of talks by experts on it, they all advocate for...

    Next All Black coach?

He’s right though, there’s no actual evidence that diversity has tangible results. Tangent, but you only have to look at successful companies, many of which come from diverse countries (like the US) but then many also come from countries that don’t have much diversity at all (Nordics, Japan...

    Next All Black coach?

They need to just hire Robertson at this stage. He’s won everything at every level, compared to Foster who didn’t win anything as a head coach. No brainer decision. Leave Foster in as an assistant for the next year or two if we need some continuity, but it’s clear we need a fresh voice at the...

Dave Rennie, becomes Australian Head Coach.

Rennie is a genuinely good coach and a good talent spotter. You have more than enough raw talent in Aussie for him to make a good side. This is a great signing, as a NZ fan I was worried you'd get him for what that is worth. He builds really good team cultures and gets good players to play above...

Four. More. Years. (The All Blacks future and players to watch in Super Rugby)

They should both be long term starters for the ABs, seems like attitude is the only thing holding them both back because the talent is ridiculous. If Akira had Ardie Savea’s work rate / attitude he’d be the best player in the world.

Four. More. Years. (The All Blacks future and players to watch in Super Rugby)

Man when you lay out all the midfielders like that.. it is legitimately pretty crazy we had an unsettled midfield in the world cup. Definitely one area we don't need to worry about for the next couple of years. I like the look of Ennor, but hopefully Ioane gets himself sorted. Either of those...

    2023-2024 transfers

He really should’ve gone to the Highlanders or Chiefs, he could probably have nailed down a starting spot at both of those places? Crusaders have enough good midfielders, same with the Hurricanes, Blues are a basket case and he has to live in Auckland. Yes it’s the biggest city in NZ, but...

    2023-2024 transfers

He picked the wrong franchise for that... notorious graveyard of young talented players amounting to not much while they are with the Blues.

    Next All Black coach?

It seems like a shootout between Foster, Joseph, Rennie and Robertson for the HC role, with a number of other guys in the mix as potential assistants. Schmidt seems like a guy any of the head coaches would want onboard, same for Cotter. I’d take Robertson or Joseph, even though I also like...

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Potentially yep - World Cups are lightening in a bottle though right. Injuries, form, rule changes, emergence of new players etc all have a huge part to play. As always, I have no doubt the boks will be one of the big chances.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

What would / could he have done with back foot ball in his own half with 3 massive boks bearing down on him? Nothing

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Rassie and the boks pretty well turned the whole “4 year cycle” thing on its head by the way. The ABs beat them 57-0 in 2017, they were a shambles. Change of a coach, whole lot of different players and bang, win the World Cup a couple years later. Awesome effort.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

He was really good tonight Pollard. Kolbe made another genuine trysaver on Lawes with about a 4 man overlap

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

That’s a stat that reflects badly on both teams. We should’ve made more finals than England, and they should probably have won more than 1/4.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Very generous to us! The score was closer I guess is about as kind as I can be the ABs. We got belted up front which is pretty similar to you guys today. Hard to do much when you’re going backwards.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Same story as us AB fans. Put in an epic performance against Ireland, didn’t show up against you lot and got whacked. I guess it shows that the top of rugby is pretty close. A number of sides can all beat each other, and games come down to who shows up the best on the day.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

A Few other sides might have something to say about that... have to agree on the most physical side point. Nobody can match your forward pack.

Ah you’re correct and I am incorrect. I forget the washed out games and had mentally counted them as wins.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

Interesting quirk of the draw, but England, SA and NZ all leave the World Cup with the same win/loss records.

[RWC2019][The Final] England vs. South Africa (02/11/2019)

I always felt like England aren’t a good chasing side. they’re good in front when the other side is chasing it, but not so good at chasing themselves. Makes me even more annoyed at the all black no show last week but ah well. Great job bokke executing it beautifully.
