Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

Clash of ***ans for sure. Two amazing teams cancelling each other out all day. Toulouse worthy winners in what’s basically an away game, enjoyed it throughly. Toulouse back row were in beast mode.

Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

Doris arguing that hands on the floor is hilarious. Leinster trying to stretch Toulouse wide with the extra man in the backs now, but then leaving the ruck short a lot.

Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

I’ll need to switch off if that happens. I still haven’t got over 2009.

Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

Was that initial grounding before or after the line… think Leinster are lucky here if it’s given as there isn’t clear evidence that ball is over the line

Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

Leinster have had upper hand in the scrum but Toulouse winning the breakdown without question. I think the maul defence needs a mention as well.

Investec Champions Cup Final - Toulouse v Leinster

Feels like this game could be won by a bit of Dupont magic

    URC 2023 /2024 Round 15

Something that seemed obvious in the Cardiff and Ospreys games yesterday was a distinct lack of power and size. You can have all the skill in the world in the backs but if you are losing the collisions all game or trying to manage firepower through defence for long periods you are bound to tire...

    URC 2023/24 Round 14

I really want to avoid slamming refs because to the winner it looks like bad sport and I get that. The Ulster knock on in the lead up was a difficult one to take as it was just so clear to everyone. Then to have no TMO scrutiny is disappointing, which is why I think the Carre situation has...

New to URC, why are the Welsh teams struggling?

The football analogy probably wasn't the best given how funding works in football. He was demonstrating that you need competitive clubs to increase interest in the sport. But he's not wrong overall. I think the reasons grassroots rugby is struggling in certain areas of Wales is due to complex...

TRF 2024 Player of the Tournament

Earl has been absolutely immense at times and is the clear winner of this for me. The performance against Ireland was a true test against an Irish backrow that was too much for almost everyone to that point. If he continues the form I expect him as the Lions 8.

[2024 Six Nations] France vs England - 16/03/24

Wow! Great try. Ford’s tap on lovely, Smith timed the pass very well! Last 5 are going to be fun!

[2024 Six Nations] France vs England - 16/03/24

Smith is class, but he just needs to keep his head here, got a bit rattled, led to a poor clearing kick.

[2024 Six Nations] France vs England - 16/03/24

Hint of a double movement, but that was really good from England to score there

Fickou won’t be happy with that.

[2024 Six Nations] Ireland vs Scotland - 16/03/24

Henshaw and Dors won’t be happy with the defence. Weak.

No sight of that touching the ground so no try. Clear yellow now though

[2024 Six Nations] Ireland vs Scotland - 16/03/24

Well. I wasn’t expecting Scotland to be in this. If they can find a bit of bit of territory and get some front foot ball like they did in the first half they might have a chance here
