    A Political Thread pt. 2

I'm trying to think in what universe going further to the right will see better election results for the Tories. It's all about prepping for the leadership contest post election and trying to drive the narrative on a Labour governement. I'm struggling to think who on center right they'd win...

    A Political Thread pt. 2

Yeah but to come back they needed a center right leader in Cameron. They are going to far greater extremes this time than Hague/IDS/Howard

People reading too much into litle thing trying to find narrative to be be soothsayer against the polls. Reality is post 2016 they've been mostly accurate.

    Antisocial, societal issues thread

Should say for those who don't know it was just an oddity of the law. Technically in a public space you could take a photo or anyone without their permission. Vouyer laws required the person to be in a private space or place they'd expect privacy. Sexual Assault laws required physicality. So...

Blair (minus middle east), possibly Churchill but he was more a war leader his domestic record when actually elected was terrible. We didn't really do charismatic leaders for a long time.

I don't think this won't stop continue to amuse me. Man who bought in voter suppression get his vote suppressed. Also oh look he doesn't think laws he created apply to him. Where have I seen that before?

    What games are you playing?

Isn't part of the issue is they are still using the same game design as Oblivion? And computer games have advanced a lot since that was revolutinary. I've mentioned before I'm really not keen on Bethesda games.

KOTOR is a great story but will need a heavy amount of editing to work in a film or TV show. Plus the great reveal requires the internet to be quiet for longer than 5 mins.

Time for the once every 4 year rant on a ballot paper.

Seriously my experience of watching it at midnight was great film. Me and the wife both loved it, the friend I spoke to that day wasn't so keen but agreed good film. We went to yearly curry in home town the next day and those of who had seen it enjoyed it a lot. In the coming days we discovered...

Yes quite a significant number. I'd say from experience its about a 50/50 split its a marmite film but those that hate it really really make their voices heard.

    What games are you playing?

Playing Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes Wears its influence on its sleeve but that not surprising considering dev team. Pretty good but not unique in its own right. Anyone else depressed at the Stellar Blade discourse? (I'll be picking it up I enjoyed the demo)

    A Political Thread pt. 2

If someone claims aslylum how do you support them without giving them some kind of benefit? There's already a time limit for normal migration before benefits kick in (even from the EU before Brexit). How many benefits are actually being sent out of country? It always sounded like an...

    A Political Thread pt. 2

Aslylum seekers are not illegal immigrants. Actually this is what gets lost in the stop the boats rhetoric from the tories. If you actually created an asylum system that works and factors that stop people with legitimate reasons to enter the country you'd solve many issues.
