Well, quality is not necessary for a thriller of a game. If 2 average teams are almost equal, the match could be much more exciting than 1 team playing phenomenal rugby and the other one being doomed to lose.

True, but if niether team is playing well enough to string together 2-3 phases, and when they hoof the ball to 'gain ground', constantly commit silly fouls for which they get pinged, cannae scrum, etc...

You get my point in this case?

I watched London Irish play in Leicester last season and they had massive skills in their backline. On the day, they managed to almost win but defensively they are just poor.

9-7 to the Oirish so far.

Lee Jones try, Homer pens.

Delighted to see Leonard starting and not doing too bad in his first HC game.

WUMing season started early this year!
If Saints win against Munster does that mean Pro12 is the weakest in Europe?
I mean, a team who didn't even make the Aviva final would have beaten the winners of the Pro12, and the winners of the HEC drew against a team who is currently 2nd from last, and in their first ever HEC

Don't be daft, that was never likely to happen. A Michael Bradley coached team beat London Irish. Michael Bradley.

The Premiership is brilliantly hyped by Sky but there's no substance to it. To borrow Rodney Marsh's phrase, the Premiership is a "pig in lipstick".

So far, Pro 12 teams have played 9, won 7, drawn 1 and lost 1

Jus' sayin' :p

In fairness to back up Snoops argument,
The top sides in England excluding Saracens all lost or struggled to win.
Saracens were comfortable in victory.
Glouceser put up a great battle against Toulouse in France.
Leicester were very poor despite victory over a poorly ranked Aironi.
Quins struggled to shake off a Connacht team who really aren't a Heineken Cup standard squad.
Saints to be fair should've beaten us and well if it were in FG they would've.
Bath showed that they aren't a force of old.
And London Irish lost to a team who really aren't great in Pro 12 and Bradley as coach makes them even worst.
