Hi guys,

The jersey will be officially announced on July 31st. But I'm really curious about it. A fe weeks ago there was an article in the NZ herald about the NZRFU suggesting to have the Silver fern in red as a tribute to the Pike miners and victims of the Christ city quake. Richie McCAw said that he didn't see the use of it and that winning the RWC would be a greater tribute.

So any suggestions on how it could look?

I think that idea was scrapped the minute it came out. The All Blacks were against it along with 99.9999998% of the New Zealand public. I think the only 2 people who approved were John Key and Phil Goff.

I like the Australian Jersey. (Home obviously)

It's about time we get back to the plain gold jersey, that is our colour, we don't need fancy garbage like on the 2007 WC jersey. I'm not always a fan of the southern cross on sporting jerseys, but it appears to be a nice touch.

As for the away Jersey, i hope it never sees the light of day.

Really not a fan of that Canterbury South Africa top. I'm assuming that'll be the typical Canterbury template for all their tops, and if so I really can't see myself spending money on the upcoming Scotland WC shirt....
