Saying what Starmer did is comparable to what Johnson & the Tories did is like saying pinching an IKEA pencil is equivalent to stealing a car...
Aren't you supposed to pinch the IKEA pencils than use them for whatever you're building?

Gotta love it when one turd with no integrity who would sell his granma for a Greggs turns on another similar but more stupid turd. Of course Cummings word isn't exactly trustworthy but then again, you'd suspect he is firing these out when he knows the more solid evidence to support it is also leaked. Johnson is coated in enough teflon that anything without supporting evidence will just slide off him (and plenty with supporting evidence too).
I'd prefer an elected house of lords but one can't argue from time to time it does its job very well.

Amazing. Cummings got Johnson to no10 to suit his own purpose. Worked him from behind to get his type of Brexit done. Now Johnson doesn't have need for him all of a sudden Cummings is this great truth teller.

I don't disagree that Cummings is an absolute twat, one of the worst people in this country. That doesn't though make him a liar. Unfortunately, as ncurd posted above, who do you really believe?
Reality anyone with even a hint of integrity knows that Johnson has almost certainly lied to parliament. The issue is not knowing, it's proving it beyond reasonable to actually show him up.
A lot of talk about how today Raab said Cummings was lying. Actually from what I've seen he never said that. He said that Johnson said Cummings is lying and that the two accounts can't be reconciled. Raab leaving himself wiggle room if evidence does prove without a doubt that Johnson lied.

Johnson resides in the building (sometimes) and is also 'the boss', the idea that any extra-circular activities happen without his knowledge and say-so is laughable at best. Especially within the gardens and during the pandemic. Add in everything we already know about his character, the evidence we've seen and well its hard to see how he isn't lying. Cumming might be lying about some truths (almost certainly is) but this lover spurned and scorched Earth policy because he's a ****.

Another Downing Street source has backed up Cummings claim and so it's not just Johnson's word v Cummings. Sue Gray needs to interview Cummings and the other source to validate the corroboration. I highly doubt that will happen though. Cummings is being very calculating - drip feeding new information so that it's front page news just as PMQs rolls around.
